| Details: We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician to join our team. DutiesThe candidate is responsible for completing work orders requested to improve our production facility. This can include new workstations, line design modifications, and better mistake-proofing mechanisms.Job Summary: The manufacturing engineering team is responsible for the design and improvement our production system. The technician would work directly with our engineers to ensure work orders for new tables, layouts, jigs, fixtures, setups, etc… are completed to the specifications of our internal customers. This requires the operation of machinery including table saws, chop saws, routers, drills, etc… Experience in woodworking, metal fabrication, and/or assembly is preferred.  Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:    ·        Ability to execute work orders to the exact specifications of our internal customers. This requires an ability to work under tight timelines with little supervision.·        Ability to read drawings and schematics·        Be comfortable working with powered machinery and hand tools including table saws, chop saws, drills, routers, etc…·        Be comfortable with minor electrical work·        Complete work in assigned time frames·        Work with internal teams to develop optimum solutions. This requires good communication skills and fluency in English.·        Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet/Intranet, etc...)·        Experience in kaizen-related activities. It is expected that the technician actively participate in kaizen (continuous improvement activities). | ||||
